Whoohoo!! Term 3

Sweet!! Term 3 has arrived and my classmates and me are back at school for another term full of learning. I'm very refreshed after a two week holiday. In the holidays I did heaps of stuff, but one of my highlights would have to be going to my aunty and uncle's farm. It's the best time of year to go because it's calving season which means I get a pet calf but at the moment I don't get one because I already have two rabbits. Their names are Caramel and Ash. In the calf shed I have a connection with this  black calf I named Pepper. I am looking forward to the term ahead of us. On the 25th of August is the ski trip and I am really excited about the ski trip because I have never seen snow before.

Yesterday we went to Waitangi museum. There we learned about the Battle of Taiamai. Here is a slide about my experience.

Pink shirt day

On friday it was pink shirt day. The pink shirts mean anti-bullying. Some of the boys were dressed in pink dresses. I was dressed in a pink T-shirt and a pink skirt my friend Indi was wearing a pink hula skirt and pink afro wig. Pink shirt day was so much fun.

golf

This week on Thursday we played golf with a man named Paul. It was so much fun and he told us these little sayings for playing golf. Feet together, hand togther and tick tock like a clock for hitting a ball. We had to hit the ball at the target. The person with the lowest score wins. I am glad he came.
